PSYCHOTIC.

Loved this quiz-bulleting from myspace because it was so fun to answer! So I’m going to keep it.

Psychoanalyze Yourself. Answer the following questions with the first thought that comes to mind. Then read which each answer means. (No cheating!)

1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. who is with you?
Someone with no face. A guy.

2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?

Some sort of miniature yellow elephant. (*shrugs* it said first thing that comes to mind)

3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?
I pet it.

4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your dream house. Describe it.
When it says house deep in the woods I can not think of anything else but hansel and gretel’s candy house. Covered with chocolate and a giant cherry on top. (again, not the ideal house for me, just the first thought in my mind)

5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?
Nope. It has lots of candy cane, maybe they used them as a fence someday but someone started eating them so now there are only a few.

6. You enter the house. You walk in to the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it?
There are some apples, the table has no tablescloth. Around there are no chairs… weird.

7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it?

Yellow porcelain.

8. What do you do with the cup?

I accidentally kick it and it breaks.

9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What kind of body of water is it?
A small crystalline lake.

10. How will you cross the water?
I take a swim.

——

1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life.
Oh i love my guy with no face… <_<
2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life. Dude! it was a miniature elephant! Hahahah, elephants are huge, and this one was a miniature elephant… Hahhaha what does that mean…

3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems.
I pet my problems… wtf.

4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems.
My ambition tastes like candy. yum.

5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You’d prefer people not drop by unannounced.
Candy cane semi-fence, very open, whoever needs to come can just eat another candy cane. Yay! …Although in real life my fence is more like high and made of iron.

6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy.
Apples! I can’t eat apples because my braces break, so that’s sort of no food for me. But I’m not unhappy.

7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationship.
HAHAHAH Oh… porcelain, porcelain.

8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude.
Literally a relationship breaker? Hahahah. Good one.

9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.
It definitely had the word “small” in it….
… HA. <_<

10. The way you cross the water is representitive to how easy or hard you expect your life to be.
A swimmer swimming through a small crystalline lake…

wow, I hope so.

Miniature elephant says buh bye.

  1. This is the first time I see the corresponding interpretation section to this exercise and so thank you for posting it. I can already see that if we take some of our answers literally it can be quite ridiculous.

I answered the questions before reading your responses so as not to accidentally taint my results. I am interested in working up a comparison of possible meanings with you. But for now, here is my interpretation of the questions only to prevent this comment from turning into a manifesto.

    1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. who is with you?
    An android from the future.

    2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?
    A predator.

    3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?
    Mutual understanding.

    4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your dream house. Describe it.
The house is built deep into a vertical rock surface. The interior walls that connect directly to rock are left exposed and those that divide the space into separate rooms are made of tinted glowing glass with a brilliance made to automatically adapt to environmental changes.

The ceilings are high and the staircases winding and floating made of stainless steal and clear glass. One floor to ceiling wall is a fish tank with an assortment of fish accompanied but a handful of turtles. The furniture is minimal, innovative and in dispersed clusters with an obvious attentive style of minimalism, ergonomics, and the utilitarian hybrid of modern and Asian design. Meanwhile, all walls that connect to the outside are made of shatter proof, tinted, one-way privacy glass that allows normal solar rays to pass through whilst blocking harmful ones. From the outside, the glass exterior appears green and thus eco-blending.

    5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?
Yes, although it can be more accurately called an armed perimeter than a fence as the latter is not only old school but also aesthetically counterproductive to a habitat friendly lifestyle.

    6. You enter the house. You walk in to the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it?
The table is large, circular, devoid of legs and directly on the ground. The epicenter is clear glass and contains a large fruit bowl. The exterior ring is black bamboo and for placing dishes when eating although at the moment it is empty. Around the table and also on the floor is a large, circular, leather cushioned piece that is currently not in use. During meals, attendants sit on said floor piece and the table lifts from the ground in sections to accommodate each person’s height and preference.

    7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it?
    Stainless steel.

    8. What do you do with the cup?
Study it carefully, pick it up with a cloth, and take it back inside for washing.

    9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What kind of body of water is it?
    A lake.

    10. How will you cross the water?
    By boat.

  2. My interpretation: You love futuristic, maybe sci-fi movies!

    I love the house btw.

I don’t know. I find it hard to believe that random thoughts from top of the head might have any meaning at all. Maybe they do sometimes, after all, they come from our complex brains… I just don’t think it happens significantly more often than real random thoughts.

  3. Here is a list of my less literal interpretations and observations:

    1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life.
Oh i love my guy with no face… <_<

    Hehehe.

I really do not think this question is made for people who function on a ‘what can be’ basis. A better take on our responses is that the ‘person’ in the woods symbolizes an ideal companion. In your case, you think it is your romantic/sexual mate. In a way, perhaps mine is as well. The android embodies intelligence, innovation, uniqueness and strength. If you take it further, you can also say I believe such an individual must come from the future because they are unattainable in my present reality.

    2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life. Dude! it was a miniature elephant! Hahahah, elephants are huge, and this one was a miniature elephant… Hahhaha what does that mean…

If it must be about problems, then for you, it can mean you ideally want to face problems that are smaller in nature. A problem is not the same as a challenge. Challenges you fight against and in the next question you pet the animal which essentially proves you ideally want to make peace with your problems. You want to make them safe.

Conversely, my ‘predator’ response is an admiration for formidable problems. Most people believe problems require oneself to spring into action. If anything, you can see I place less value in action and more on understanding. Unless the problem ‘attacks’ you can continue to learn and grow from it. If the problem mirrors and matches your every move, you are affecting its very nature. It becomes an exchange and not simply a one way affliction that so commonly leads to feelings of helplessness.

    4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems.
My ambition tastes like candy. yum.

Ambition for you is delicious and best served sweet, no? 😉

There is too much emphasis on problems in this answer sheet. Dream homes by definition are representative of our dreams and not our problems. My dream home is quite the ambitious endeavour and specifically tailored to every facet of my personality no matter how minute. It is pristine and constantly evolving for the better.

With yours on the other hand, it is almost as if you believe that for every dream you have, creativity is not enough. That even if you manage to get there, you not only fail to arrive in time, but to add insult to injury, someone else will have gotten there before you and left only scraps. A dream that was once beautiful and creative ends up a disappointment. Even a place that you would consider sacred and truly yours others have found a way to defile. There is an overwhelming sense of fruitlessness and the only question you can ask when you get there is, “What was the point of it all anyway?”

What is important to notice is that for you there once was a fence and if a fence is indicative of a closed attitude towards others, that yours is broken means that whilst the intent is there, others have found a way to trample it anyway. They didn’t just steal it or tear it down. They slowly chipped at it. Another example of others seeing things that are inherently yours, disrespecting the purpose behind it and doing with it what they will. There is a theme of loss of control—of your wishes and desires being ignored.

    9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.
It definitely had the word “small” in it….
    … HA. <_<

To state that the size of the body of water equals the size of one’s sexual desire is overly simplistic. It fails to take into account that depending on the situation, water can have several meanings. If it indicates thirst, then an ocean may represent great thirst and little satisfaction—less satisfaction equals greater thirst and the cycle perpetuates. Meanwhile, a ‘small crystalline’ lake epitomizes quality—the greater the quality, the greater the satisfaction, essentially rendering an ocean superfluous.

My interpretation: You love futuristic, maybe sci-fi movies!

And you have a fetish for miniature yellow elephants!

    I love the house btw.

Thank you. So you know, if you offer my lethal perimeter fence buckets of green exterior paint along with several paintbrushes it automatically disables.

I don’t know. I find it hard to believe that random thoughts from top of the head might have any meaning at all. Maybe they do sometimes, after all, they come from our complex brains… I just don’t think it happens significantly more often than real random thoughts.

Significance is contextual. These exercises rarely have literal meanings. Effective interpretations require specificity. They must be tailored to each individual that is why a list of generic responses is sorely insufficient.
